Singapore Zoo and Night Safari are award-winning attractions, which offer excellent exhibits of animals presented in their natural environment for the purpose of conservation, education and recreation. Our mission is to preserve biodiversity and to undertake public education, research and collaboration as well as maintain and update the exhibits in the most humane, naturalistic and yet efficient manner. Each year, the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari attract an average of 1.3 million and 1 million visitors respectively.

Asst Managers - Banquet/Restaurant

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the highest standard of quality relating to Food & Beverage service, presentation and supervision for all meetings and functions
  • Plan and organize the staffing, administrative and logistic on forthcoming Banquet and events function
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of all food and beverage items served
  • Work closely with the sales and chefs team to ensure guest satisfaction and prompt problems resolution
  • Oversee the maintenance of banquet facilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
  • At least 2 years banqueting experience in hotel environment
  • Chinese wedding banquet experience is required
  • Pro-active and resourceful with strong command of English
  • Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Preferably with Class 3 driving licence
  • Able to work in the evenings, weekends and public holidays
