Singapore Zoo and Night Safari are award-winning attractions, which offer excellent exhibits of animals presented in their natural environment for the purpose of conservation, education and recreation. Our mission is to preserve biodiversity and to undertake public education, research and collaboration as well as maintain and update the exhibits in the most humane, naturalistic and yet efficient manner. Each year, the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari attract an average of 1.3 million and 1 million visitors respectively.

IT PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Successful candidate will be reporting to Senior IT manager, assisting her in managing and delivering new and existing IT projects
  • Engaging and working with all stakeholders in defining users’ business and functional requirements.
  • Translating user’s business and functional requirements into technical specifications, complete with project costing and budgeting
  • Sourcing, evaluating, short-listing and recommending solutions (products and services) to meet business objectives and operation needs
  • Planning and managing all IT projects to ensure all requirements are fulfilled and delivered as per project implementation schedule and throughout project lifecycle, including conducting system testing, data migration, user trainings, etc.

 

Requirements

  • Possess degree/ diploma in IT related courses
  • Experience in change management and business process re-engineering or mapping
  • Possess logical problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
  • Strong vendor management skill ensuring projects are delivered on schedule
  • Excellent user management skill, working with users in defining requirements in accordance to industry best practices and executing an implementation plan
  • 3-5 years experience in project management with hands-on experience in managing multiple projects concurrently and ability to work well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and also written skills
  • Possess domain knowledge in tourism industry will be added advantage
