Singapore Zoo and Night Safari are award-winning attractions, which offer excellent exhibits of animals presented in their natural environment for the purpose of conservation, education and recreation. Our mission is to preserve biodiversity and to undertake public education, research and collaboration as well as maintain and update the exhibits in the most humane, naturalistic and yet efficient manner. Each year, the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari attract an average of 1.3 million and 1 million visitors respectively.

Sound Technician

You will provide efficient and effective technical support for all Animal Presentations, and the maintenance of all sound and sound related equipment.

Requirements:

• ‘O’ level, preferably with NTC specializing in Mechanical or Electrical
• 2 years technical experience with stage, sound and lighting related equipment
• Good communications and organizational skills
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of sound, communications and sound related disciplines
• General knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety policy and procedures and its implications on both work colleagues and within the Stage areas and environment
• Possess initiative and a diplomatic and tactful team player
• Strong interest in changing technology and electronics
