- Hamadryas Baboons – The Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia
Let our guide take you on a journey to the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia and enlighten you on the fascinating Ethiopian wildlife and culture. Watch a troop of over 50 Hamadryas baboons interact and be amused by their strikingly human-like behaviours and expressions. You will get a chance to feed the baboons as well! Walk through the Konso and Amharic villages and gain an insight into the tribal lifestyles. Finally, find out how the Ethiopians discovered coffee, one of the world’s most popular beverages.

Walk through our Tropical Crops Plantation, which displays a range of cash crops including rubber, coffee, cocoa, nutmeg, pineapple, clove, etc. and get to know how we have ‘borrowed’ the various part of these plants to spice up our food, clothes ourselves, soothe pain and improve the quality of our life. Get a chance to sample some products of these case crops.
